We currently have a vacancy for a computer technician.

Our business mostly consists of supporting the networks of other small businesses. Our most important customers are running networks based on Microsoft Small Business Server, but we also have a number of domestic customers and business customers that use peer-to-peer networks.

You will be able to project a helpful and freindly attitude towards our customers and have a good telephone manner.

Knowledge of some/all of the following is essential:

• Windows Server / Small Business Server
• Exchange Server
• DNS
• DHCP
• Gateways
• Group Policy
• Setting up Wireless
• Setting up ADSL Routers

Since the computers are at customers' sites and you will need to fetch and carry computer equipment, you will need a car. We pay mileage at 45p per mile

Pay will be in the range £16000 to £23000. The job is based on a 37.5 hour week (9-5 Monday-Friday) but if you are at a customers' site and there is a job that needs finishing you will be expected to stay. You will get time back later though. Holidays are 20 working days + Bank Holidays.
