Customer’s needs vary enormously as do the current state and size of their IT systems and future requirements. We want to be sure you are receiving the appropriate level of support from us and so support arrangements and charges relating to the Ultimate & Standard service levels need to be very carefully considered and agreed upon following an initial consultation at your premises. 1st Hour Charge

The higher 1st hour charge covers the cost of travelling to/from your site.

Subsequent Hours Charge

This is the charge for any time beyond the 1st hour and is calculated in 30 minute blocks, rather than hourly, to better reflect the time we spend with you.

Work Done at SoftLink

This includes work where you bring your computer to our office. In this case the minimum charge is £20 +VAT. This also includes telephone and remote support, though this is charged by the minute.

Includes Nailsworth, Brimscombe, Stonehouse, Painswick, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Cirencester.

Remove Virus/Spyware

We can remove even the most stubborn of viruses, spyware or rootkits. Sometimes however, these can damage an operating system to the point where the only solution is to reinstall everything. We will phone you if this is the case to agree this with you.

Reinstall Windows

Sometimes it's nice to have a fresh start and sometimes there is nothing else for it but to reinstall Windows. We always ensure we backup your data and reconfigure your email and favourites etc. Reinstalling your operating system can make your PC run significantly faster and overcome small but annoying glitches.
